Derek Agnew

1937-1943

The late Derek Agnew was Journalist who wrote a book about conscientious objectors- who opted to be sent down the mines during the war- wrote a book Bevan Boy which became a best seller.

Steve Brown

1966-1969

Steve is a record producer and has worked with many including Elton John, ABC, George Michael, The Cult, Alison Moyet, Freddie Mercury and The Manic Street Preachers.

Frederick Buller

1937-1943

Frederick Buller is now one of Britain's most respected angling historians. He has written ten books including, Pike 1971 and Domesday Book of Mammoth Pike 1979 which have become the benchmark in pike angling history and are highly valued.

In 1997 he was awarded The Austin Hogan Award by The American Museum of Flyfishing for "excellence in writing about the heritage of the sport of flyfishing".

His latest work on the capture of Atlantic salmon over 50lb will be published in October 2007 and is sure to be well received worldwide.
